NJ Dealer/Shop tranny Repair???
Hey all- My sst feels loose and crappy, it pretty much has felt this way since I got the car used 2 years ago. I brought it to a dealer in MA and they didn't know what to do with the car (never saw a ralliart or sst, had no idea how to repair it) and told me they would "call mitsubishi to open a ticket." So, they never did, and I gave up trying to get them to do it. 2 years later now and it's clunkier and noisier.
Anybody know a trust worthy shop in NJ or the surrounding area? I suppose a dealer would be best, so does anybody know a dealership around here that has actually worked on a ralliart? Thanks |

I flashed to the GST map a few months ago and shifting drastically improved, but wasn't perfect. I went back to my original stock rom yesterday and the shifting is terrible. It feels like the tranny is going to fall out of the car. I might be exaggerating, but under 20mph when in the equivalent of stop and go traffic, it thunks, clunks, jerks, etc. Not good! It feels like something is loose, like the whole thing is rocking around in the car. Every shift in all gears hangs for a half a second or so before engaging. |
Thanks for the help, but I think need a dealer or shop so they can actually look at the car. Iveytune is cool but I'm not sure if they are authorized to do the warranty work. I have an aftermarket warranty (lifetime powertrain), not mitsu, but I'm pretty sure it should go through a Mitsubishi shop.
But if you know what's wrong with it, And can provide a dealer, that would be great! thanks lol |

I heard that some good SST testimonies about RT46 Mitsubishi. STAY AWAY from Paramus Mitsubishi.
