If your dealer is like mine, then they don't set the maintenance counter to align with the oil change mileage. Just recently I had mine come up a few hundred miles before the next scheduled oil...

On very wet roads I go with Gravel--I believe that's what they wrote in the manual. If it's just beginning to rain or not that wet, I sometimes leave it on Tarmac. (Still have stock tires on my car)
