Default Brembo Big Brake Kit

The kit is finished and finally here!

This kit is a complete Brembo setup for the front of the Ralliart and Lancer GTS.

The total cost for the front upgrade is: $1,550

For ordering information, contact me. Again, this kit is complete and on sale, now!

This kit works with the stock RA rear. It is also possible to retrofit Evolution X Brembo rear brakes to complete the entire Brembo upgrade (RA only). This kit requires no brackets of any kind. The calipers bolt onto the car as if they came from the factory. The rotors are single piece and again bolt onto the car as if they were stock. If you are looking for genuine Brembo brakes to fit onto your RA or GTS, this is it! Again, no grinding, no brackets, no hard to find calipers. Everything fits as it would from the factory!

(If I need to pay to be a vendor on here, let me know. I am always happy to contribute.)

Is this the same zr1 caliper setup that Drew was working on?

No, these are 4-piston "Evolution" style calipers. I stuck with this setup, because these calipers are sized spot on perfectly for this car. Also, as an added bonus, the Evolution X rear plays nicely with this kit.

I have mock-ups for Drews calipers and the required rotors for his kit. I can get ZR-1 calipers onto a RA. The 6-piston calipers that he is using, at least in his first post, are not from a ZR1. No Corvette calipers fit on this car without a bracket. Believe me, I have tried everything.

After months of testing, it was determined that these 4-piston calipers are best suited for this car. If you want a complete Brembo upgrade for the RA with perfect balance and OE fit, this is the best that I could muster.

Drew's calipers are 6 piston front. There is currently no rear designed to work with that front (and they would be 4 piston, as they were on the Camaro ZL1).

You may have meant ZL1 as in Camaro ZL1. Paying the extra for the ZR1 calipers would be stupid, as the 09+ CTS-V and ZL1 and ZR1 all use the exact same pad width, but the ZR1 has a stupid tall contact patch since they use the carbon ceramic rotors. You would not be able to bolt the ZR1 caliper up to the spindle and use that pad, like NFS said.

What's the best wheel size for clearance on these? What size rotors? And can to piece ones be used?

And does that price include shipping?

Two piece rotors would have to be made. This is a rotor that we make in house. It does mean that replacements are not hard to come by, though. We are working with a few distributors to have them made as replacements in the future.

The price doesn't include shipping. That is an additional $100 anywhere in the states.

The original intention was for these to work with 17" wheels, as kind of an added bonus. The rotors are 13.5", so it might possible to work.

What model car are the calipers originally intended for?

Or are they specifically designed for our cars?
