Looking at this. What kind of tune is required for this?

yes, but I recommend this one instead: http://www.aemintakes.com/search/pro...x?Prod=21-698C. With the AEM there is a tune out via GST and its compatible with it for future modification potential.

None? The site says that a tune is needed immediately after the install

AND most of the time once a tune is perfomed you wont see any spectacular gains compared to a tune without one.

You WILL require a tune after that intake, you can pay and have AMS flash/tune your car or have a reptuable local tuner make a map for you.

You can explore other intakes too, like Crak said you can buy the AEM Intake and run the GST AEM maps. Or do the 'DIY Intake' on evom.com and it require no tune.

had that thing on my RA - hated it. honestly it was probably the biggest reason I made the sticky on evom, because I hated how I bought into brand name marketing for that stupid intake

Please search before posting the same questions everyone else asks.

Once and for all... IF YOU HAVE AN AFTERMARKET INTAKE, TUNE IS REQUIRED. If you choose not to, then I hope you'll enjoy replacing your engine.

One that magically puts cooler air into the engine bay since that SRI will only increase intake temperatures over stock, rendering it a waste of cash. See crak's link for a proper way.
