Default AEM Intake For Ralliart!

PICTURES ON PAGE 4!!!

PICTURES ON PAGE 4!!!

So I picked up my car today from AEM in Hawthorne, CA. They are using my car to develop an intake system similar to the AEM intake for the X.

They had my car for one week and were kind enough to set me up with a rental car and when I got my car back today it was washed and fueled up. {thumbup}

Now that they got all the measurements it will take 2-3 months to finish up the intake.
From what I was told it will be similar to the one for the X but with a few improvements.

Good news is in about 3 months there will be a new low key/stealth Intake for our Ralliarts!

I'd rather have the hot air evacuated out from under the hood. But if a snorkel was there, it would have to stick up pretty high to go from the current negative pressure design to a positive pressue vent. The stock one there is designed to get air out from under the hood.

Looks good, do you have the small battery kit installed?

Very good point Mike! I will pass this on to Ken.

Ill let Ken know that the snorkel needs to be at least 7 inches high and made of carbon fiber for extra JDM points! lol

definitely agree

I remember first thing that happened when I drove off with my Ralliart was that the windshield fogged from the heat vented from the hood. They're definitely there to expel hot air, not intake

sucks we would need to buy a small battery kit or relocate it. they hsould make it like the stock airbox so that it works around the battery

Who said anything about a battery relocation? This AEM kit will be a direct replacement of the factory intake and will not need a small battery.

Unless that airbox is smaller for the RA I don't see how it would fit with the stock battery?
