Default Quick question on 2014 Ralliart

Anyone here owns a 2014 Ralliart? I just want to ask about the premium package for the ralliart, what lights are in HID, the low beam? high beam? or both?

thanks and have a nice day!

correct. all Lancers (including both RA and Evo) that have the factory HIDs have bixenon - the low and high are the same module. high beam is activated by a shutter that moves out of the way when high beam is engaged.

Are the low beams pretty bright? I have been getting flashed quiet a bit at night and I didn't have my high beams on.

they're bright for factory HIDs, but maybe yours are out of alignment. if you can, park your car in front of a wall or garage door at night and turn on the headlights. thats the easiest way to check your alignment.

the base non Canadian RAs no longer had DRLs like the rest of the non-HID Lancers after 2011 iirc. the 2008-2010 used the low beam headlights.

yes. pretty much every 2008-up Lancer/Ralliart/Evo uses H11s for the factory fogs.
