How did the other cars do compared to your RA?
Mustang?
Civic?
is that SS?
Did I tell you my first BOV was a hand-me-down with a trumpet to atmosphere?
I watched my gas gauge go down so fast, I couldnt wait to swap that thing back with the stock one.

Even though I was running almost a half second slower I finished the night almost undefeated except for two runs where The slow down sign came up and threw me into limp mode which turned in runs in the 15 to 16 second range.
Every10, 11 and 12 second car I went against either launched too early and fouled, stalled or aborted either way every car a second or faster than me lost due to their own fault giving me the win by default. I will have more pics and a video or 2 once my brother in law figures on how he is going to get the stuff off his iphone LOL !
I will have to go out to the garage and bring in all my slips from last night I made notes after each run on the car I ran against except where i had people coming up to me afterwards and starting up a conversation at which point I may have forgotten a few times LOL! Kept having to tell people NO its not an Evo X.

Every time I see the title of this really great thread, I go dyslexic and think its about a brake sand instead of brakes and...
Glad to see you having fun at the track!

Yahoo I finally found the video of my Fastest run done earlier this summer and have uploaded it to you tube. So here it is 13.2 seconds and I lost against a 12 second super charged 3.8 litre Grand Prix GTP.

Yes I am reviving a 3 yr old thread. Deal with it!
Next weekend I will be drag racing the car. This time however I will be running a GST Tune on it for the first time at the drag strip.
I have ordered the AEM intake system and if it gets here in time I will be changing to the GST Tune made for this intake otherwise I will be sticking with the current GST tune meant for full turbo back and pump gas etc..
If me and other Ralliart guy here in Winnipeg, can get the Super Sport Mode and Launch control successfully flashed into the car this weekend and tested in time we will try that out at the track as well. I am aiming to try and break into the Ralliart 12 second club on Stock Engine, Stock Trans and Stock Turbo.

I think this is pretty doable, are you pulling anything to shave weight? I've had great results on this car with weight shaving, I'd like to see what kind of results you can achieve just swapping the front seats to Racing seats and pulling Anything else you can live without.. Taking 200lbs out, is my goal.

Ralliart/EVO rear fender rolls and tab grinding $100, guaranteed fitment(when possible, you should always do the fitment research first)
minimal partial rolls $60(no tab grinding)
So cal fender roller rental $10 per day(3 day min) with $200 cash deposit. Includes Eastwood fender roller, heat gun and heavyweight carry bag.

I will be pulling all the stereo equipment out of the back including both the amps and custom MDF and fiberglass enclosures, the sub, spare tire, jack, Capacitor, syrofoam etc..
empty out any spare unneeded junk from glove box, center console, possibly remove rear floor mats and seat, plastic engine cover and whatever else I have time for. I am down 12 pounds myself since the last time I drag raced in 2012.
I have however put on the big Evo X rotors, 6 pot Brembo calipers which weighed a lot more than the tiny stock stuff I took off and have the bigger Evo X MR wheels on the car now.
Just a quick rolling shot of how car sits with new wheels, brakes, struts, springs etc..

Very glad to c your still at it Jackal. Glad to c u putting the RA through outs paces and it still hanging in there. I still haven't gotten my hands on a RA of my own and get mad when I read thorough 8 pages just to find out they got rid of car. Very disheartening and makes me rethink wanting to but one. But your post piss me right back on board
