Default Running Evo X ROM on RA

Hey ladies and gents I was wondering if anyone here has experienced running a Evo X ROM on their RA. If so, how is it as compared to the RA ROM? What's the advantage/disadvantage of running an Evo X ROM on the RA?

Thank you all in advance for your assistance.

Um, negative. So many different values in the ROMs considering the differences in the turbos. Plus you have to take into consideration even if you use the MR maps, the SST values are still different.

Hi.

I can't see any reason to. It's against The Natural Order of Things, lol.

The Aussie RA ROMs have great EcuFlash tuning def coverage on goldenevo.com, so just tweak the appropriate ROM and you're away.

If you're on a ROM with ID starting with 5361, choose 53610013 as your revision of choice. Mitsu fixed the odd thing in 0013 compared to older ones. You can find a stock 53610013 image here, in razorlab's ROM stash. Then tune as desired. If you're on one of the 5695 ROM IDs, the 56950006 revision is well-researched and well-defined.

Or... go for a pre-packaged tuned RA Base Map. Lots of work went into these babies - they are a great place to start.

Either option will yield better results than trying to ram in an Evolution ROM into a Ralliart.

Not to say that running an X Rom on an RA is impossible, but the fact that both cars differ in fuel output, engine red line, power output, turbo deminsions ect. It may not be a good idea. But if you ever decide to do it let me know how it works out.

Fuel Injectors & Fuel rail are the same on Evo X as in our RA.

ok, but a larger turbo requires more fuel correct.

just FYI, RAs run happily with Evo X roms. it's a whole lot of cutting and pasting though for MAP and MAF and SST and heaps of other random tables. There are probably many tables as yet undiscovered that should be copied over aswell!
but it will run, and run seemingly perfectly
A few guys are running Tephra dual map roms on RAs and so far, no one is reporting and issues.

But if you're not running dual maps - why??
Potential problems. No tangible gains.

...and surely it's better to contact Tephra and ask him for dual maps + KnockCEL on your native ROM (or a close relation)?
