Dealers wants too much money for the MR. IMO. Even for the new 2013 RA is too much money 28k starting price with all the goodies it is easily into mid 30K.

No more recaro option on 2013 RA.

I dont think I will be doing a trade in. I got a trade-in appraisal of 12-15k for my RA. Plus I still owe to pay off my RA. lol.

Also 2013 is not lighter by 90lbs. 2013 RA is 3,461 lbs

2013 Lancer SE AWC 2.4L NA is promising @ 3,120 lbs, not digging the CVT auto transmission though. Wish it had v6 option like eclipse or at least manual transmission option.
2013 options are overpriced crap.
Wish I can pick and choose from the package deal.

For example

Touring package.
Leather Seating Surfaces (No recaro! )
710-Watt (Max) Rockford-Fosgate® Punch Premium Sound System including 10” Subwoofer (Dont care for it or need it)
6CD/MP3 In-Dash Head Unit (Dont care for it or need it)
Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps
Rain Sensing Wipers (Should've been standard)
Auto On/Off Headlamp Control
Heated front seats (Dont care for it)
Power Glass Sunroof (Dont need it)
Auto Dimming Rear-view Mirror w/ Rear-view Camera System
Rear Lip Spoiler (replaces rear wing spoiler) (standard, pay more on package and lose it, i would want both if I already paid for it not installed but still want it)

Navigation Package cost more than
Navigation Package with rear camera. lol. (Granted this package require touring package)

LED Illumination packge. LMAO!
Chrome Package. LMAO

All weather package is kinda cool because of remote start.

I see Mitsu offering stripes, expensive but kinda cool. They called it Original wraps. lol

Oh yeah, Finance is less time and cost more now too.
0% APR for 48 months for the new 2013 vs 0% APR for 60 months when I bought mine in 09.
Also $20.83 per $1,000 financed vs around $12 per $1,000 financed in 09.

The CVT transmissions are at their torque limits stock. Do any little mods to them and you just turn them into a metal grinding machine. They just lay down in a pile of smoldering rubble.

lol, yeah too bad no manual option on 2013 SE. some special edition.
Should be renamed sucka edition.

Marketing dept always find a way to screw up the cars and crap-age (package) deals.

Beside oil jet revision 2013 is mostly ecstatics? Correct me if I am wrong. Any revision to SST to make it worth the trade?

Odd about the Recaro option. I've heard some say that it ended with the 2012 model but when I asked my dealership about it (El Cajon Mitsubishi) they said that it could be done, but none come from the factory with it anymore.

Coming from the seats in the 4G the Ralliart ones do let me slide around a bit more, however I'll deal with them until I can afford to buy a set of heated/cooled Recaro's.

I have to admit, I thought the backup camera was cheesy as hell when I first got it, but the little screen jammed in the rear view mirror is absolutely wonderful. I can look at it, my sides and rear all at once.

From what I've read, there was some kind of low profile revision to one of the SST cooler feed bolts back in 2010 or 2011? Other than that I didn't see anything.

Where I am down under here are the differences that I am aware of:

2010: SST clutch teach in. Additional sound proofing.

2011: Auto folding mirror, bluetooth music streaming. USB port.

2012: New wheels. Reduced fuel consumption by 0.5 L per 100km. The normal lancers received electric power steering. If that is fitted to the RA, could account for the fuel consumption improvement. Reverse camera and sensors as standard. Air filter and muffler design changes for normal lancers, probably applied to the RA too.

2013: Touch screen for normal lancers, probably applied to the RA too.

In terms of the Recaros, we should be region-specific, as they are still available in Canada.

The comment on the electric power steering is concerning. Can someone with a 2012 please confirm. That is one thing I do not want.

Thanks.

My 2013 RalliArt has plain old belt driven power steering like since 2008.
