And for tuning just tune the stock ecu or should I also get like a cobb tuner. A little new to this flashable ecu thing.
Boost Pill - a simple way to control boost by restricting the boost aka restrictor pill

3-port - a better more precise way to control boost via ECU

Normally you remove the pill once you add a 3port BUT ive read people actually using both!

Also some companies make boost pills to go along with their tunes/flashes..

Basically a pill with a smaller hole to "build" more boost..

I highly suggest doing a tranny flush.

Get that break in fluid out!

Get a SSP SS Filter

and start doing the tranny flush every 20k or so...

Stay with the OEM fluid.

What are your plans with the car? Daily? occasional track? Street monster?

OK so would swap the boost pill and adjust the boost on the tune or does it up it to a set psi? I've had boosted cars before had a 95 240sx with a built sr20det and ran an electronic boost controller but I'm new to this boost pill thing haha.
More than likely going to just get a 3 port boost gauge.

Honestly, its best to ask your tuner...some prefer certain methods over others..

Do make sure your tuner KNOWS the SST and how to tune for it tho.

oh and make sure you dont install the pill/3port backwards (forum joke!)

Default I'm in as as well

Wttc I'm in az as well I drive a 2012 Mabey we will run into echother
If you run a 3port ebcs you don't need the boost pill. Both will require a tune
There a free base maps located here that will work with the boost pill if you go the route instead of the 3 port
http://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09-...t-basemap.html

I would recommend ums tuning in Mesa or wingz performance in chandler
Both are very knowledgeable with the evo x / Ralliart platform with sst.
