I'm staging the engine mods this week. I have a lot of parts from the stage 1 build on my MR that I'm intending to roll over. The motor will likely see a two stage build with the final goal of running between 325 and 350WHP.

ATM, the stock battery is really in my way. I saw a really sleek mini-battery set up for a STI a few weeks ago. I'm going to try and fabricate my own solution so I can run the intake that I want.

In the end, I'm sure it will be similar to my other builds, but with fewer stickers and (god willing) it'll be high enough off the ground that I can clear a speed bump.

Coming Soon:

Some new goodies are on their way or have arrived:

Black CE28Ns (18x8.5) Black

AEM Intake

This is going to require the battery augmentation to reduce it's size and location.

Using my evo's intake to estimate space, I should have enough room just to the left of the intake if I relocate the mini fuse/relay box.

Also I'll be playing with an Evo X intercooler next week and doing some test fitments with a BBY front clip to let in a little more air.

Evo X Intercooler

The offset is +52.
I'll be using 15mm Kics spacers all around, then 25mm when the new front fenders go on.

Ahh. I'm still not too sure about running spacers, but those will definitely do the trick!

Spacers are fine as long as you use something with a hub centric ring design, like KICs.

If you run a standard spacer (or a wheel that does not fit snugly onto the OEM hub ring) you place the weight of the vehicle solely on the wheel studs. Over time, aggressive street or track use, will cause the studs to bend and or break.

More information can be found here: http://www.justforwheels.com/index.j...entric&sub=how

Proper KICs spacers and KICs brand hub centric rings can be found here: http://www.mackinindustries.com/wm/kics/kics.html
