Default New to me RA

Picked up a 2012 RA this week. 22.5k miles. Original owner did some mods to it and I'm planning on taking it to a speed shop to get checked out in a couple weeks. They refuse to tune it though because of the transmission. Is this a common thing?

Black car blacked out with tint and wheels.
Mods are afaik
Exhaust
Intake
Headlights
Possibly the inter cooler or just the pipes not sure yet
Bov that doesn't seem to be functioning properly.
Wheels
Tint
Previous owner painted most of the exterior trim black. Looks ok but I'll be feeling some. I already removed rear trunk badging and the tint he put on the rear lights (why?)

Anyway I'm in northeast Ohio. Hope to have years of fun with it. My 2 girls love it already. Even the wife enjoys it.

Default Welcome

Hope you enjoy your new-to-you Ralliart. If you're in NE Ohio, you're relatively close to Dave Buschur's shop in Wakeman, OH (which you may already know or you may not). I'm located near Columbus Ohio and was up there many years ago when my dad was having Dave's shop go to town on his '92 Plymouth Laser RS. Good times!

I'll have to look up Buschurs shop. According to the map Wakeman is only about an hour from me so that's not too bad. I'm taking it to Smokey's in Akron on the 17th so we'll see what they say.

Thanks

Find a TC-SST tuner!

The intake MIGHT cause an issue if it changes the diameter or anything to do with the MAF.

Find a stock Evo X BOV. You want a BOV that recirculates not vents..

Lastly do a tranny flush...then do a flush every 20k or so. Helps with cost if you have a metal tranny filter.

The TC-SST is great, but you need to take care of it...start saving for cooler upgrades
