Default environmental controls question

Something I haven't figured out yet is how to control air recirculation. When I have the air directed to the front vents the recirculation indicator is on. I press the button to turn it off, but nothing happens. The only way to get it off is to direct air to the windshield defrosters. Manual says pressing the button should switch between fresh air and recirculate.

Anyone else have this problem?

Do you have the a/c blasting at 65f?

If so, I have found fresh air will not come on. Bringing the temp up a few notches will allow fresh air in.

Yes, I do have the temp set at the minimum, so I'll give that a try.

Wish they'd just go back to the manual settings. I haven't yet found a car with automatic controls that actually works. You set it at 72F and you get a blast of slightly cool air. :P
