Default Factory Wheel Size Information

Ok, the wheel size/tire size for the GTS and Ralliart is 18x7" with +46 Offset and 21mm hex.Tire size is 215/45R18 89 load Index and V speed rating.

Evo X/(just Evolution here in the states)
18x8.5" with +38 Offset and 21mm hex.
Tire size is 245/40R18 93 lead Index and Y speed rating.

I was thinking of some super sexy MR wheels on a Ralliart. Now that would be heaven.

I already posted, from Robispec, the widest wheel size that will fit on an '09 Ralliart...let me find it again.

Found it...According to Robispec, you can fit a 245/40R17 on a 17X8.5" with a +35 offset. He doesn't believe you can fit anything larger (meaning wider) than that though.

I wonder if he meant to say 18" when he gave me that information? I'd better check with Robi and see what his experience has been thus far.

TireRack shows Volk RE30 18x8.5 as a valid fitment for a GTS (which should be the same).

Offset: 47mm
Backspacing: 6.65"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size: 215/45-18
Weight: 16.6lbs.

Shame they're $800 each, but at least we know something else that size would likely fit.

The other issue may be that the wheel sticks out past the fender line since the Evo has a 2" wider track. I guess we won't know until someone here tries it and posts the information up.

I presume that's part of TireRack's fitment calculations. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Default 19x8 with 235/40 on Lancer VR-X

Came across this Lancer VR-X in a local dealer in Oz which had been lowered and fitted with Osaka Sparks wheels. According to the Osaka web site the 19"x8" only come in 40mm offset. Seem to fit very well with the 235/40 tires. Do the VR-X and Ralliart share the same suspension other than the AWD?
