body shop said it will probably take a week. but if they decide to replace the hood instead of popping the 20+ dents in it, they told me i could get any hood put on as long as its not more expensive than the stock replacement. so i'm exploring those options as i wait.

I believe the on-hood vents do serve a purpose...I'd think twice about a hood the doesn't have similar or more airflow into the engine compartment. Otherwise the turbo will run hotter since the main scoop directs air back toward it.

yeah definitely... i was looking more at the oem style carbon fiber evo x hoods. so same flow or better with those. i'll find out monday whether they want to replace or not. i couldnt find a price on the RA hood but the stock mitsu replacement evo hood (same thing) is ~$700 or higher.

I think I have the only one in TN. I drove 5 hours to get mine. The dealer here is horrible. But they said they may get 2 soon. Sorry about the hail check this hood out.

purchased a graphite gray last week... drove 6 hrs for it; currently in Biloxi, MS. So far I'm pretty sure I'm the only soul in this area with one; the crazy looks from other drivers and pedestrians have not stopped.
