Yessir, we have to meet up. Do you DIY? Planning on getting a FMIC real soon

STi to RA, I had a 2006 STi and was loving it. Any Suby modder can tell you, it is so dang sexpensive to modify it and gain a decent amount of HP. Tried to tune it myself so I borrowed a friends Garret, the rest was just like a puff of smoke to me. get it? lol.
Why not an Evo? After all the bills and the upside down loan on the burnt up STi, i`m lucky to even get this RA.

ahhh, didn't even cross my mind it was an older STi. For some reason I thought you were in a new 2008+ STi

I like the 06 STi's styling. best one imo with that front grille. But they can definitely get expensive to mod - an engine rebuild isn't exactly cheap

I really thought the STi vs Evo was actually close, but after learning more with my tuner - those subie motors are nowhere near as strong as the Evo's. Getting past 350whp gets costly on subies apparently, where it's just a matter of bolt-ons with an Evo (4g63 or 4b11)

You are correct, stock block don`t last very long also.
Oh and I finally found a tuner on DCEvo.com , if any locals want to come with me all you need to buy is a wideband.

Good to see another RA in the DC/MD/VA area. Did you buy yours with the side-mounted plate frame? I'm debating on just putting mine on the nose like it should be or getting the EVO X frame and putting it on.
