@Eric. Thanks for the info on the race setting. its new to me. I thought S-sport was the last option.

S-Sport is a great option, but the rev hunting that the TCU does now is not a good long term solution for RA owners. For now, the goal is going to be to recalibrate an X TCU ROM to account for the RA's taller gears.

I could be wrong, but I recall reading that the rev hunt issue only manifested itself on earlier (2009-2010) vintage RAs and 2011+ didn't have a problem.

Beeble confirmed after flashing 10+ ralliarts from all different years concluded that it was random. No rhyme or reason why some get it and some dont. I really do think it is because of the taller gear. Why else would a tranny all of a sudden want to slip only during that range on that gear specifically? It has to be a software issue.

Any update on this? My 09 has the rev hunt issue. I've learned to drive around it mostly but it's not an ideal situation.
